Florida's piers take a beating. Hurricanes close them for months or years at a time, and the information on mapping services often stays green long after a pier has been fenced off. This page tracks the piers we have checked, so you don't drive to a locked gate.
We have verified status for 14 of our 1,251 listings so far, and we are working through the rest. Always confirm with the operator before travelling — and if you find a pier in a different state than we show here, tell us and we'll update it.
These piers are shut to the public. Do not plan a fishing trip around them.
